I live in St Simons Island ,Georgia with my husband Clint,  Three teenage daughters, Paige, Anna, Caroline and my 12 yr old son, Philip. 

There's Bella the Weimeraner, Hadassah the Yorkshire Terrier and Valentine the Jack Russell.  My passion outside of my painting is my love of horses and riding my Spanish Horse, Merlin. 

I learned to draw and paint when I was a little girl by drawing horses to give to my Father to weaken him as I begged to get one!

I studied Commercial Illustration at Georgia State University under Alan Tiegreen, Illustrator for Beverly Cleary's "Ramona" series. I discovered my love of portraiture as I was raising the children on our farm, surrounded by critters, and began painting at home. My favorite Artist / Illustrator is Norman Rockwell and is still my greatest inspiration. 

I also paint because I am so in awe of the beauty that God has created in all living things.
